Research Interests
Cimarron describes her professional practice as contributing to the university by providing an environment that is inclusive and supportive whether in her role as technician support to students and faculty, or to her colleagues as a whole. And overall encompassing view - to never stop learning or become complacent with her skill set. Cimarron is always questioning, always exploring, whether it’s ideas or tangible outputs. Her practice is a multidisciplinary intersection of visual art, spatial design and traditional craft processes - with the recent addition of digital technologies being added to the mix. She is ultimately interested in dualities and the exchange between audience and artifact no matter the form it takes.
