Establish a Student Award
Emily Carr University is committed to providing talented students access to an exceptional post-secondary education through donor-funded awards.
Awards provide financial assistance for students to achieve their educational goals and realize their creative aspirations.
Named awards can be established in memory of a loved one who has passed, in tribute to a loved one, or to acknowledge a person's contribution to society. We are happy to work with you to establish an award that best meets your needs while still providing valuable support for students.
Funding Priorities
While donations are welcome in all award areas, the University's funding priorities are for awards for students who are Indigenous, Black, and People of Colour.
The following describes the types of donor-funded student awards that provide financial assistance (bursaries), reward academic achievement (scholarships), or support students in an alternative way (awards). Student awards should be kept as general as possible to ensure they are viable.
