Welcoming Charlene Sayo as ECU’s New Events Assistant

Please join us in welcoming Charlene as our new ECU Events Assistant!

Charlene brings her institutional knowledge, thorough understanding of event pipelines, and excellent coordination skills to this role. Previously, she supported the Summer Teens programs in 2016/2017 before joining the department full-time in 2018, most recently as the Learning Technologies Assistant. Her rapport with students and alumni will be incredibly valuable to the Events team.

As of July 27, 2023, she will support events at ECU and will be a point of contact to support external rentals. In the Fall she, will support the Totem Pole unveiling ceremony, the Student Art Sale as well as many other external events. Charlene will also be contributing to improve our events processes and workflows.
