The Exhibitions Office and Community Bookings teams are thrilled to share a new resource to help request exhibition spaces and book critique spaces.

Whether you’re showcasing your latest project or organizing a class critique, our handy online guide makes requesting exhibition areas and booking critique spaces much easier.

We know that presenting your work is a crucial part of your ECU experience, and the Exhibitions and Bookings team is committed to helping you get your work seen on campus. Familiarize yourself with the exhibition guidelines and critique guidelines. Space availability will vary depending on timing, demand and the type of space you need.

We have also added maps for exhibition and critique spaces for easy access.

Here’s what you might consider when determining which spaces to book on campus:

  • Do you need specific criteria (natural light, darkness, no noise, bleed, etc.)?
  • Do you need access to electrical or A/V hook-up?
  • What kind of lighting are you hoping for?
  • Are you hanging things from the ceiling, and/or will you need special equipment or assistance?

Once you’ve determined your key requirements, review our resources and FAQs to check the criteria before booking your spaces.

The Exhibitions Office and Community Bookings will address your questions about installing and deinstalling works and what spaces are available. Read through the guide and contact us at exhibitions@ecuad.ca and communitybookings@ecuad.ca if you have additional questions.

Happy exhibiting!
