Seed swap art call

The Student Climate Action Network (SCAN) and the ECU Library are seeking Emily Carr students to submit logo designs for the ECU Seed Swap, which will be facilitated by the library beginning in April.

Attention Emily Carr Students! The Student Climate Action Network (SCAN) and the ECU Library are seeking Emily Carr students to submit logo designs for the ECU Seed Swap, which will be facilitated by the library beginning in April.

More details on the seed exchange to come, but who is SCAN? SCAN is a network for students at Emily Carr University to share and organize sustainability work - whether that’s artwork shared out on Instagram (@ecu_climate_action), DIY sustainability workshops, or, well, this seed exchange!

What you need to know about the seed swap design competition:

The winning design will be stamped onto 2.5 X 4 inch seed packets. All designs must be monochrome, formatted landscape orientation, and include the text ‘ECU Seed Swap’. The design may also be used in other branding related to the ECU Seed Swap.

There will be lots of Skip the Dishes gift cards to give away to participants courtesy of SCAN. The winner will also be awarded a special gift from the Library.

Please submit your hand drawn or computer-aided design to scanclimateaction@gmail.com by March 19th. The winner will be announced March 26th.

Feel free to get in touch with SCAN via email or Instagram with any questions about the competition, or if you are interested in participating in sustainability related work at ECU. And stay tuned to the ECU library Instagram and website for more information about the seed exchange.
