Coming up in November

This November, the Emily Carr University Library will once again be participating in Climate Action Month. We will be featuring a few related events and displays:

  • On Thursday, November 14th we will be running an email and cloud storage delete-a-thon from 11:30-1:00. Join us for some pizza, a brief presentation, some tips and tricks, and EAT + DELETE!
  • Throughout the month we will be hosting a series of repair cafés including a mending movie night, a bike repair demonstration, and an electronics repair workshop
  • We will be coordinating a field trip to the Capilano Watershed led by ethnobotanist Senaqwila sen̓áḵw Wyss where you can learn about where our water comes from (space limited)
  • We will have an interactive thought board on climate action where you can share your thoughts on the climate and biodiversity crises
  • we will have our Sustainability Resources collection at the entrance of the library throughout the month
