Microsoft 365 (formerly known as Office 365) is now available for free access to all Emily Carr University students, staff and faculty. Microsoft 365 is a cloud-based package of services. The ECU community has access to great Office apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote, as well as 1 TB of OneDrive cloud space.

This also includes M365 Office licenses for your personal computers and devices, giving you free access to Office applications that may be installed on up to 5 personal devices.

As a member of the ECU community you can get started by visiting the M365 information pages for faculty or staff or students. You will be logging in using your MyEC ID and password.

Microsoft 365 support: Microsoft is responsible for all support for the Microsoft 365 service. This support is primarily offered via their extensive support website. We have also gathered some useful training resources here.

For general queries about your MyEC account and assistance, please contact the IT Service Desk at ithelp@ecuad.ca
