Collaboration and productivity for ECU staff and faculty just got easier with Office apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and 1TB of cloud storage.

Microsoft 365 (formerly known as Office 365) is now available to all Emily Carr University faculty and staff. It's a cloud-based package of services and is hosted in Canada, which meets our privacy requirements.

M365 includes improved collaboration and productivity tools using familiar apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote, as well as 1 Terabyte of OneDrive cloud storage. Future extensions are currently under review - more information is coming soon.

A software update will be pushed to your ECU-issued laptops and computers. This will occur in the morning on April 13th at 8:30 am. Please close your Office apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to receive the update. After the update you will need to sign into M365 before you can use your Office applications.

As an Emily Carr University faculty or staff member you will be logging in using your MyEC ID and password.
