Don't miss the wonderful graphic novels created for Ceile Prowse's Creative Process classes, currently on display on the upper level of the library!
Students began by quickly choosing an image from a pile of postcards, art cards and photographs. They spent 30 minutes writing a narrative based on that picture. Over the course of the week they developed the story further ensuring there was a clear narrative arc.
From the beginning of the semester, students have been keeping a journal of dreams, memories and overheard dialogue and these have been incorporated into their stories.
The results are truly intriguing. Stop by and enjoy! They're on display until December 6th.
