Artstor Platform Migration on August 1st, 2024

The image database Artstor will be migrated to the JSTOR platform and retired on August 1, 2024.
This means that the website domain is changing from artstor.org to jstor.org.
Action needed
Links with the artstor.org domain will be redirected automatically when the site is retired on August 1, 2024. The redirects will remain in place for at least one year.
However, we recommend that instructors update any links to Artstor on course Moodle pages and/or syllabi as soon as possible:
- When linking to the Artstor on JSTOR platform, use: www.jstor.org/images#artstor-collections
- When linking out to individual images in Artstor, use the JSTOR stable URL. For example: https://www.jstor.org/stable/community.11793828
Note also:
If you created your own image groups in Artstor, they should have been copied over into folders in the JSTOR Workplace. Please see the vendor’s support page for more information.
Accessing Artstor
Moving forward, you can as always get to Artstor via the database A-Z list; or by simply searching “Artstor” in the General Search.
