This piece aims to explore the symbolic and personal potential of the physical change that comes with a haircut. It also addresses one’s personal relationship to their hair and how changes to it can be both liberating and challenging.

About the Artist

Thea Kehler is a photographic artist who works with digital, analogue, colour, and black and white mediums. She creates works of portraiture and location photography with themes of self reflection, social commentary, and abstraction.
