Inspired by these amazing creatures, I interpret using unconventional materials with layering giving the work a three-dimensional, visceral view which manipulates it to the ocean's environment on specialty plastic Japanese paper.

About the Artist

Pamela Jamieson is a contemporary mixed-media artist from Vancouver Island specializing in Yupo paper. Her work explores microscopic organisms in our oceans that are threatened by plastic pollution.
