This book of illustrations depicts taboos of the female body, and seeks to give the viewer a sense of control over their own experience of the work. The work intends to facilitate awareness about feminism and equality for women.
About the Artist
From the small city of Fort St. John, British Columbia, Kelsey came to Vancouver to study illustration at Emily Carr University of Art + Design in 2016. Her work focuses on creating narratives using daily life, femininity and humourous motifs.
