The Faculty of Design and Dynamic Media at Emily Carr University is pleased to announce the 2024 Animation + Film/Video Premiere Screenings, which showcases the work of the Bachelor of Media Arts degree students and highlights the 2D + Experimental Animation, 3D Computer Animation, and Film + Screen Arts programs.

The event will feature screenings of the Film + Screen Arts students' capstone films and original works. This is a wonderful opportunity to show your support for the hard work and dedication of these amazing Emily Carr University graduates as they showcase their talents and share their stories.

The Screening Room
Visit The Screening Room for a vibrant and personalized viewing experience of films produced by our Dynamic Media degree program students!
The Screening Room, which goes live on May 10, is where you can view individual films and learn about the filmmakers and their creative process.

Reading Room materials are available to view when the ECU Library is open from 9am–5pm, Monday through Friday. The ECU Library will be open until 11pm on Opening Night.
Getting Here
Find info about our campus location, transit and parking options on our website.
Normal operating hours for the parking garage next to ECU are 6:30am to 11pm. Free parking will be available first-come on Opening Night, May 9, from 6pm onwards. Visitors must park in ECU-designated spaces on Level P2, no ticket required. Paid parking is in effect on all other dates.
Navigating The Show
The main entrance and exit are located on the south-west side of the ECU campus building, facing Great Northern Way. Up a short flight of stairs or ramp, you will enter on Level 2.
Access is only through the main doors via Great Northern Way. The East doors will be open only for Opening Night on May 9.
The exhibition area includes the Libby Leshgold Gallery and runs along the full length of the main hallway, as well as inside the Library + Learning Commons. An all-gender washroom is available on this floor.
The exhibition area of Level 1 includes the Reliance Theatre for scheduled screenings and an on-demand screening area. Exhibits are installed throughout the south and east sections of the building. An all-gender washroom is available on this floor next to exit on the east side.
