Opera Opulenza - online Salon Social

What is a Salon Social? It's an intimate concert of opera arias and/or art songs with time for tea, snacks, and a chat with our guest artist. It's a chance to hear and meet professional or upcoming opera singers and musicians up close, and to also meet other community members.

As part of our Fieldhouse programming at Oak Park, we normally hold these concerts in the Fieldhouse, but in observance of the COVID-19 guidelines, we’ll be posting the performance online and chat via Zoom.

On the day of the Salon, registered audience members will be sent the Zoom link to the live online chat with Katie and artistic director Trudy Chalmers.

The pre-recorded concert "Season of Love" is free and available to view by anyone at any time. If you are participating in the chat, please make sure to watch the online concert in advance. Watch the Seasons of Love concert here! (tip: turn up the volume on the video itself to get a clearer sound)

Be sure to join us on May 30th online for our live Q&A! We’re looking forward to seeing you there!
