About Dr. Moussa Magassa (Royal Roads University website):
As a social activist embedded in academia, Magassa has been teaching
numerous courses on global leadership, social justice, human rights
social change, intercultural conflict resolution, justice, equity,
diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism education. Magassa believes in seeking out ways to collectively create
innovative solutions for the local and global challenges that confront
our human social, cultural, political, economic and environmental
realities.
In 2013, Magassa became an associate faculty member for the Social
Justice program at the University of Victoria, where he continues
teaching today. At the same time, Magassa became an associate faculty
member at Royal Roads University.
This event series is supported and initiated by the NSERC EDI Capacity Building Grant.
