Mapping Our Instincts: An Intuitive Guide to Resilience
Shayna Hornstein teaches tools to develop new, healthy patterns, reducing the accumulated impacts of stress in our lives.
Resilience is different from endurance; it is the ability to bounce back when we face adversity. When stress builds up, it lands in the body and can unplug the brain. Our thoughts can race and be hectic, or we can feel dull and foggy.
Using a somatic approach, this experiential workshop teaches techniques to help reduce the physical impacts of stress. Shayna helps people learn to work with the body as our most valuable resource. When our bodies get a break, we can think and communicate more clearly. When we feel more at ease, we can act in the best interests of ourselves and the people around us.
