Led by artist and MFA student Jordan Baraniecki, Making Sense Of It All is a poetry and projection-based that was first shown in Saskatoon at Nuite Blanche in 2019. The project allows viewers to create surrealist cut-up poetry, and see their poems presented in semi-real time in an anonymous fashion. Jordan hopes that this project will allow viewers to rearrange his words so that they become their own; taking away the difficulty of creating a poem from scratch for a first-time viewer. Presenting the poems in an anonymous fashion also takes away from the pressure of presenting your own work.
This event will be held at different locations throughout the summer, but the first stop is the Moberly Arts and Culture Centre on Friday, April 23rd from 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM. The event is open to all ages. Proper precautions will be in place for COVID.
