Hey! That’s Mine! Appropriation & Photography
The second of a series of six exhibitions that draw from the artists' books collection in the Emily Carr Library.
Hey! That’s Mine! presents publications by Ed Ruscha, Nicolo Degiorgis, Dash Snow, Hana Pesut, Jonathan Meese, Deniz Merdano, Anne Daes, and Wolfgang Tillman, to engage with the evolution of photography and appropriation as it pertains to past and current photographic trends.
The exhibition consists of photographic representations of selected pages of the chosen publications. These appropriated images can be seen installed on pillars in the Library.
