Emily Carr Chorus is a community choir that gathers weekly to sing songs, rounds, chants, harmonies, melodies and tunes for all voices and all levels of experience. Come humm, moan, drone, croon, trill, purr, whirr, whisper, and warble with us!

Sharon Bayly | sbayly@ecuad.caEmily Carr Chorus is led by Sharon Bayly, a singer / song leader and shop technician in the 4th floor Stretchers + Surfaces wood shop at Emily Carr.
Sharon has worked with various community choirs since 2017 as song leader: Local Vocals (dir. Anna Baignoche) / Accapellaboratory (dir. Patti Powell) / Rhythm’n’Roots (dir. Karla Mundy). Sharon initiated Singing in the Stairwell at Emily Carr in 2018 and then joined forces with Jane Slemon and Joy Onj in 2022 to co-lead Emily Sings in the Stairwell. She is excited to lead Emily Carr Chorus this fall and hopes it will serve to lift up our voices and our spirits!
