The very first workshop of the ECU 101 event series will be led by our University Secretary, Natasha Himer. The participants of the workshop will be exploring the university governance model, its components such as the Board of Governors, Senate, and its committees, and their roles, as well as the ways to engage with these components.

The ECU 101 event series is made possible through the support of the NSERC EDI Capacity Building Grant, and the events are poised to unfold throughout the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 semesters. The events have been designed to cultivate an inclusive and supportive environment for all members of our faculty, with a particular emphasis on those who are new to our academic community or are transitioning into new roles within it.

This event will be hybrid. The in-person gathering will be at the Teaching and Learning Center. To register for online access, please send an email to Ece Arslan at earslan@ecuad.ca

This event series is supported and initiated by the NSERC EDI Capacity Building Grant.
