Visual artist and illustrator, Gaku Tada has worked on many big VFX films such as "Avatar," "Planet of the Apes," and "Iron Man," for more than 20 years. He's also worked at places such as Weta Digital, Digital Domain, and ILM. Currently residing in New Zealand, he is a university instructor, offering online classes, and working as a freelancer. Lately he has been creating illustrations and videos in a watercolor-like 3D style using Blender.

During this talk Gaku will be addressing the breadth of his practice and describing his process for creating his personal artwork.
