Join us for ideas to introduce reading skills and activities into your classroom with Sara Osenton, Writing Centre Learning Specialist.
Thursday BYO Lunch + Learns on November 9 with Learning Specialist Sara Osenton discussing strategies and practices to activate reading in your courses, and help students learn from and through readings. If you’ve ever designed a class discussion activity that relied on a reading only to discover that half the class hasn’t read it, this session is for you!
This session will draw on strategies and ideas from the book Skim, Surface, Dive by Dr. Jenae Cohn.
