Youth Art + Culture Lab

Youth Art + Culture Lab is an exciting partnership between Emily Carr University and Richmond Art Gallery. The program provides youth ages 12–15 with an opportunity to build confidence and develop diverse creative skills through hands-on and interactive sessions with local and international artists, gallery educators and Emily Carr University instructors. Students learn through behind-the-scenes access to artists and exhibitions, participate in art-making workshops, explore a wide range of media, and deepen their understanding of art. Sessions alternate between the Richmond Art Gallery and Emily Carr University, concluding with a student showcase of their works for family and friends.
