Passwords must be:
- a minimum 13 characters long
- alphanumeric with special character
We recommend choosing a relatively long phrase that is easy for you to remember, but hard for the computers to guess, such as "Sunset-Comes-to-Arctic-Early-Winter”.

Students get an ECU email + access to M365 while learning with Continuing Studies!

• ECU Email: Your ECU email gives you access to important updates and resources from instructors and staff. Make sure to log in before your course and check it regularly. Log in at https://email.ecuad.ca.
• M365: This provides additional tools for learning. For more info, visit this website.
  
• Moodle: ECU's virtual learning platform has everything you need for your courses, including instructor contacts, Zoom links, and study materials. Log in at https://courses.ecuad.ca.

Your Emily Carr OneCard is your student ID. You need it to enter campus areas, use printers, and borrow from the library. If you're studying online or already have a OneCard, skip this step.

1. Go to myphoto.ecuad.ca.
2. Log in with your username (without @ecuad.ca) and password.
3. Follow instructions to upload your photo.

Upload your photo by Monday to get your OneCard by Wednesday of the same week. There is no fee for reprinted cards, but don't reprint unnecessarily. For reprint OneCard request, please contact csonecard@ecuad.ca. You will not be able to upload a new photo into the myphoto site. IMPORTANT: Reprinting your OneCard will deactivate your current card when the new one prints.

To receive your OneCard, please have available an accepted government issued photo ID on this list to present to Security. Visit Security during building hours. Enter through the main (South) entrance. The Security Office is on the left, behind the Information Desk. Call security using the phone by the office if no one is available.

MyEC is our student information portal. You can see your schedule, update contacts, download tax forms and view grades.

To login:

1. Visit https://myec.ecuad.ca
2. Log in with your Student Account Information (see Step 1 above)

Navigate options on the left side of the web app to view your student details.

Moodle is ECU's learning management system and includes instructor contact information, Zoom links, reference materials and other information to support your learning. Moodle is used for all online courses, and may be used by some instructors for on campus courses.

To login to Moodle:

• Go to courses.ecuad.ca
• Log in your ECU email account and password.

GOOD TO KNOW: Your course(s) will be visible in Moodle on the course start date. If you are attending an online course, your instructor will send a welcome email with information about joining your first class to your @ecuad.ca email account. If you register for a Continuing Studies course less than 2 business days before your course start date, access to your ECU email account, M365 or Moodle may be delayed. If you are attending an online course, your instructor will send a Zoom link to your personal email so you can join the first class.

Teen Student Material Guide for Workshops

Note: The Student Material Guide only acts as a guideline of what items you can generally expect to see on your Course Material List; however, students should refer to their Course Syllabus for the exact list of materials needed. This will be emailed to students at their ECUAD email before the first class.

Two weeks prior to Spring Break Art Camp, you will receive a Welcome Package, with additional information about your studio and any materials or software you should know about. Student Material Lists will appear on the Course Syllabus.
