Creative Futures Institute (CFI) is an immersive, month-long art and design program that provides students with the next step in their preparation for post-secondary education in art and design, challenging canonical knowledge, conventional ways of thinking and understanding, and conversations about the role of art and design in today's world. Part studio-based and part seminar-style, the Creative Futures Institute blends both creativity and criticality into group activities and discussions with expert instructors and fellow creative peers.

With a focus on future thinking, creation and innovation, students are invited to embrace experimentation, other ways of knowing and seeing and the world, and to share their big questions and ideas about art and design, and its role in responding to and shaping the future.

This program is for students ages 16-18, or who have completed Grade 10 by July 1, 2025.
