Story: An Introduction (CSSC 101)
We encounter storytelling daily, through conversation, advertising, films, visual culture, spoken narratives, and more. It is fundamental to the human experience. This course introduces the principles of story with a focus on animation, tv and film. You will learn story theory, develop your own characters, story world and narrative, and discover what makes a great story. Whether you’re new to story or are looking to hone your knowledge and understanding, this class will provide you with the tools for analyzing and deconstructing story, and give you the foundation to create compelling stories of your own.
