Portrait Photography (CEPH 202)
Capturing a compelling portrait is an essential skill for any photographer. This practical and theoretical introductory course explores the history and evolution of photographic portraiture and techniques used for producing a compelling, contemporary portrait, including location, lighting, composition, emotion and technical settings. This course will include the use of natural and studio lighting to convey personality and emotion, with the opportunity to photograph your own subjects. This course is suitable for beginner and practicing photographers using both analog and digital cameras. This course does not include darkroom access.
