UX/UI for Games (Unity) (CSGD 104)

While User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) design are often associated with web and app development, they play a crucial role in video games as well. From logo splash screens and menu systems to heads-up displays (HUDs) and interactive elements, UI/UX shapes the way players engage with games. This course builds on your existing UI/UX knowledge and focuses on applying these principles within a game engine. You will explore unique design considerations for games and learn how to create interactive interfaces using Unity's UI toolset. Through hands-on projects, you will design, develop, and implement functional UI components that enhance player experience.

Upon successfully completing this course, students will receive a digital skills badge through Accredible, a digital credentialing service. To opt-out of receiving a digital badge for CS courses, please unsubscribe here.
