Introductory 2D Game Development (Unity) (CSGD 115)

Learn to harness the power of Unity to design and develop your own 2D game. Building on skills gained in Introductory Unity and Scripting for Unity, you will explore the nuances of game design, from creating platforming and top-down games to planning and testing levels. Through hands-on projects, you will animate characters, design game play elements, and develop interactive environments. You will build your own sprite-based prototype, script movement systems, and refine your levels through iteration. By the end of this course, you will have a functional 2D game with simple user interface, equipping you with the skills needed to continue your journey in game development.
