Perspective Drawing (CSDR 101)

Combine your visual concepts with technical precision through perspective drawing. This course advances knowledge of perspective systems to convey the illusion of dimensional forms. You will explore increasingly complex laws of linear and atmospheric perspective, including vantage point, 1-point, 2-point and 3-point perspective, scaling a character or object in space, and positioning or manipulating points of view. By the end of this course, you will learn techniques for rendering perspectively accurate objects and scenes, or manipulating space and form to create experimental compositions and designed worlds. This course is suited for students with some previous drawing experience, and those interested in developing visual storytelling through illustration, animation, visual effects, or spatial design.
